6-8th grade artists at Durham Middle School
Cobb County-Marietta Water Authority, Cobb County Water System would like to invite you to participate in the 7th Annual WaterSmart WaterArt Contest! WaterSmart WaterArt was designed exclusively for Cobb County middle school students, who not only have a passion for art, but also a passion for our environment.
Students have from now until Tuesday, October 11, to create a masterpiece that answers the question, “What is the value of water?” All submissions will be put on display at The Art Station, Big Shanty, and the top 12 pieces will be featured in the 2017 WaterSmart calendar. A reception will be held in honor of the participating artists on Thursday, November 17.
Congratulations to the following students for moving on to the next level in the art competition.
8th grade Kylie Ingram

All three of your pieces have been submitted to the Cobb County School Level to represent Durham Middle. I look forward to seeing one if not all 3 of our students’ masterpieces hanging in the Superintendents Gallery Exhibition. Thank you to the others that applied and wish our peers luck as they move forward.
